Youth

Sunday

The Youth meet on Sunday mornings and is for young people Years 7 - 13. You will stay in the service for the first 15 minutes and then leave for your group. You will learn about Jesus' teachings and the challenges of leading a Christian life through Bible study and group debate. You will also have the chance to discuss other issues such as; relationships, drugs and family.

 
Saturday Night

Once a fortnight, from 7.30pm until 9.30pm the Youth meet up to socialise. Some weeks this will be in the church where there will be various games to play such as; table tennis, PS2, pool and darts. Other weeks you will have the chance to go on an evening out. Recent trips out have included the cinema, climbing in St Wurburgs and Laser Quest.

 
There are plans to create a separate Youth website. As this site is going to be designed for you we would like some ideas and thoughts. If you have any suggestions you can e-mail Andy at churchoffice@downendbaptist.org.uk.
